Talking to herself. “Why do I expect him to visit my store.”
Maybe he is craving for little more.
She wasn’t surprised when in the evening he walked in.
He could see her glittering and shining, that big smile with a bling.
He smiled back but was casual, and the reason was not expected as usual.
My off days are over he said. I’m flying back to Toronto. And, she felt dead.
However, she smiled and said, “I wish you could stay”. And he replied, “not all wishes come true, right?”
Both knew this was the end but didn’t say a word. She wanted to hold him and he wanted to let go the load.
